Everything is knitted to order in batches, so a colourway that sells out comes back on a date we print on the card rather than a vague promise.
Both machines came out of a closed mill in Mataró and were rebuilt over one very long winter. They are slow — eleven minutes a sock — which is why the run is twelve pairs and not two hundred. It also means a dropped stitch gets caught by a person, not a camera.
Combed Catalan cotton and a Spanish merino, dyed in small lots by a family dyehouse in Olot. Lot to lot the pinks shift a shade or two. We photograph each batch rather than retouching it back to the last one, so what you see is the yarn currently on the shelf.
Every photograph on this site was taken in the flat above the workshop, on whoever was around that afternoon. No studio, no retouching the ribbing straight, no borrowing a stock photo of somebody else's socks.
Six of the current run. Prices include VAT; stock is what was actually in the drawer this morning.

Four of the notes customers wrote on the card that comes with every order. Drag the row, or step through it with the pair of controls underneath.
When a colourway comes off the machine we post a card the day before it goes on the site. No weekly email, no discount codes, no second field to fill in.
